Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive BIM power supply expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the charge in shaping the future of power supply for transportation, ensuring projects are executed with excellence and adhere to the highest standards of quality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management), manage critical interfaces with civil work and partners/contractors, and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Collaborate with the BIM Coordinator and engineering teams to develop and maintain BIM models for power supply systems.
  • Model electrical installations including power distribution, grounding systems, and cable routing using Revit.
  • Produce detailed 2D drawings and documentation from 3D models, including installation plans, mounting standards, and grounding layouts.
  • Generate and maintain accurate cable lists and equipment schedules from digital models.
  • Ensure models are compliant with project BIM Execution Plans and industry standards.
  • Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts.
  • Update models based on design changes, site conditions, and feedback from stakeholders.

 

All about you

 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Master University Degree in BIM within Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in BIM modeling for electrical or power supply systems.
  • Understanding electrical design principles, standards, and installation practices.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination processes and multidisciplinary collaboration.

 

Know-how and skills:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Dynamo
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Autocad 2D & 3D
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Rigor, perseverance, analytical and synthesis skills
  • Quality of verbal and written communication mandatory in English and if possible, in French
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally, with customers and suppliers
  • Logical and organized
  • Multitasking skills
  • Ability to solve problems through collaboration, creativity, and analysis
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assigned tasks in accordance with instructions, prescribed routines and accepted standard practices.
