Could you be the full-time Control/Command Engineer in Saint Ouen, close to Paris we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including train control engineers and cross-functional teams), design low-voltage and subsystem components, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of engineering deliverables for Train Control & Information Systems, but also provide support for interface testing and train validation when required.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring the quality of deliverables (Right First Time)

  • Meeting delivery schedules (On Time in Full)

  • Applying standard methodologies and processes

  • Managing and escalating open points

  • Designing low-voltage and subsystem components to meet client requirements

  • Providing interface control documents (ICD) for relevant subsystems

  • Addressing change requests (CR) related to your function

  • Maximizing reuse of reference solutions or previous projects

  • Supporting supplier interface tests and PC testing

  • Performing tuning on test benches and trains

  • Contributing to lessons learned within your domain (software, schematics, subsystems)

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, or a related field

  • Experience as a functional rolling stock engineer

  • Knowledge of electrical design and schematics development

  • Familiarity with electrical, electromechanical, or automation engineering (e.g., programmable logic controllers)

  • Practical experience in software design and development using IEC61131-3 languages or tools like Matlab/Simulink, ControlBuild, etc.

  • Understanding of V-cycle design processes, considering Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)

  • Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces (e.g., Serial Link, Ethernet, MVB, industrial communication networks)

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience working in a matrix, multi-site, and international environment

  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
