Your future role
As a Train Performance Manager in the Train Systems team, you are mainly responsible for the overall performance of the train by ensuring the development of technical and transversal requirements and then their assignment/integration to the different subsystems.
You have developed strong knowledge and skills in systems engineering in the railway or transportation sector. You have worked on large-scale projects implementing verification strategies in close collaboration with all engineering and particularly with certification and validation teams.

This position based at our St-Bruno site on the South Shore of Montreal is a permanent full-time position (40 hours/week) - Ability to work in an international, multi-site and matrix organization. Hybrid work environment – 3 days on site. Occasional travel to external sites (QC, ON, US) is to be expected.
Your main responsibilities
• Management of the train development and integration phase
• Definition of operational and functional analysis and validation by the client
• Definition of the overall architecture of the rail system
• Technical interface with the client to support the project manager and PrWM (Project Warranty Manager) during commercial operation
• Resolution of outstanding technical issues in accordance with the project strategy defined by CoD (Chief of Development), from investigation to implementation of changes and problem resolution
• Train level test specifications
• Rigorously adhere to the processes, methods and tools in place corresponding to these activities
Your mission

• Be the reference in terms of obligations/constraints on the Train System integration scope
• Meet established standards for quality, productivity and internal and external customer satisfaction
• Contribute to any continuous improvement project/management of feedback (REX) from previous projects
About you

• University degree in engineering or any other field deemed relevant
• Proven experience in team management and project management
• Strong communication skills (French and English)
• Mastery of IT/office tools (Microsoft Suite, Sharepoint, SAP ERP)
• Member of the OIQ (bonus)
