We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious General Studies Computer Aided Designer (CAD) for our site in Crespin, France

 

Purpose of the Job

  • Performing 2D train layouts in accordance with train mechanical architecture
  • Performing first 3D allocation to derive train architecture to stakeholders
  • Support Gauge DE and Weight DE in their activities

 

Your responsibilities : 

  • Creating full batch of train and car layouts 
  • Creating space allocation models:
  • M1 for macro elements and new developments
  • M1 to M3 for dynamic elements (bogie, intercar, gangway, front nose)
  • Checking DMU content at project initialization vs train layout 
  • Providing inputs to Tolerancing LE for infrastructure interface stack up
  • In Tender phase, study the feasibility of new mechanical development

Contributes to

- Support of weight and gauge studies on demand

 

Your profile :

  • Advanced technician certificate or Engineering school for junior profiles
  • CATIA knowledge
  • CATIA Kinematics module knowledge is a plus
  • Interiors/Mechanics and Cabin (good to have) experience
  • English basics in read/writing and technical meetings
  • Ablity and aglity to work on different subjects during the day
  • Rigorous
