Could you be the full-time Software Development Engineer in Villeurbanne that we are looking for?
Your Future Role
Take on a new challenge and leverage your software development expertise in an innovative, cutting-edge field. You will work with a collaborative, dynamic, and multicultural team, playing a key role in the design and enhancement of embedded software solutions that are shaping the future of sustainable mobility.
On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with program teams (systems engineers, validation engineers, etc.), contribute to the addition of new features and the design of state-of-the-art embedded products, and much more.
You will be primarily responsible for developing and integrating new software features for AC4 and AC4L products, as well as analyzing and resolving software issues.
We’ll look to you for:
- Bringing your expertise and versatility in programming languages such as C/C# on Linux, and Python
- Developing and integrating new software features related to traction, energy management, or bogie monitoring within our various real-time embedded software solutions.
- Analyzing and fixing software defects on AC4/AC4L products.
- Improving our tools and practices: CI/CD (GitLab CI), test automation, monitoring, etc.
- Writing technical documentation, including specifications and test protocols.
- Conducting unit testing to ensure software quality.
- Collaborating closely with teams in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
- Actively contributing to the implementation of innovative solutions in the field of sustainable mobility.
Your Profile

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering School qualification, or equivalent university education.
- Experience programming in various languages (C/C#, Python, etc.).
- Experience in embedded and/or real-time software development.
- Experience in, or understanding of, industrial environments.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, particularly in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings.
- Strong analytical and adaptability skills.
- Strong interest in software development and new technologies, combined with a proactive mindset.
- Attention to detail and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
