Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and negotiation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates. You'll drive impactful supplier relationships and contribute to the successful execution of global procurement strategies. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (commodity management, engineering, supply chain, project management, finance and more), coordinate supplier negotiations, and support the development of innovative commodity strategies—and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
Procurement Strategy & Sourcing

- Manage the complete sourcing cycle from supplier identification through contract award and supplier performance management.
- Lead RFQs, commercial negotiations, cost optimization initiatives, and supplier selection in accordance with Alstom sourcing processes.
- Support commodity strategy deployment and contribute to supplier panel development.
- Ensure compliance with Procurement, Ethics & Compliance, Sustainability, Quality, and EHS requirements

Accountable for achieving annual procurement savings targets, identifying cost optimization opportunities, negotiating best total cost solutions, and contributing to project and business profitability through effective supplier management and sourcing strategies
Supplier Relationship & Contract Management
- Own supplier relationships for assigned commodities and suppliers.
- Negotiate and implement Framework Agreements, Specific Agreements, and Purchase Contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery, quality, cost, innovation, and risk mitigation plans.
- Manage supplier escalation processes and lead corrective action plans when required.
- Ensure end-to-end contract administration from contract creation to contract closure.
Procurement Operations & P2P Excellence
- Ensure smooth execution of the Procure-to-Pay process, including purchase order creation, supplier follow-up, goods receipt coordination, and issue resolution.
- Drive operational efficiency and process simplification initiatives.
- Ensure data quality and compliance within ERP and procurement tools.
Risk, Compliance & Sustainability
- Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation actions.
- Ensure adherence to Alstom Code of Ethics, export control regulations, sustainability requirements, and supplier due diligence processes.
- Support decarbonization, responsible sourcing, and CSR objectives within the supply base.

Degree in purchasing, engineering, project management, finance, business administration, or equivalent,

Experience or understanding of procurement, project management, and supplier relationship management ,

Knowledge of SAP (preferred) and MS Office ,

Familiarity with railway industry practices and Alstom products (an asset) ,

Adaptability and ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment ,
-
Fluency in English
