For Platforms we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic RSC Regional Platform Cost & Competitiveness Manager at Savigliano site in Italy
Purpose of the job:
In charge for her/his Platform of :
- Developing and implementing competitiveness strategies for projects, Ref.-Lib and products under R&D-development
- Analyzing performance indicators and proposing improvement plans
- Coordinating with commercial, technical, and financial teams to ensure profitability
- Overseeing benchmarking and market studies to identify competitiveness levers
- Delivering cost reductions with accurate QCDP commitments in a timely manner
- Managing project costs and ensuring clear cost-per-unit commitments
- Supporting Project Managers in financial reviews and action plan closures
- Develop and follow competitiveness actions on projects and tenders
- Managing competitiveness plans on the platform’s projects, reference libraries and reference solutions : driving during project development , implementation during tender preparation, monitoring during project execution
- Support pre-tendering / tendering activities and start of projects with reference libraries.
- Collecting ROE on relevant Projects
Performance measurements:
- Progress of Competitiveness action plan: volume/number of competitiveness actions proposed, progress of actions
Educational Requirements
Mandatory: Engineering degree and/or Business School
Experience
Mandatory: Minimum 5 years of experience in industry
Desirable:
- Experience in Railway industry
- Knowledgeable of Costing, or Engineering, or Sourcing in similar industry
- Experience in Design To Cost
- Good knowledge on Excel and Data management
Competencies & Skills
Technical:
- Project Management and / or Industry background
- Ability to recognize product and associated costs, and understand operational flows (engineering, manufacturing, industrial, etc)
- Understanding of basic enterprise internal processes: Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Quality and their interfaces…
- Sufficient awareness of financial rules and contractual aspects (bonds & guarantees, …)
- Good communication skill (presentations, synthesis, relationship with contributors ...)
- Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment
- Fluent in English: spoken and written

Salary Range 43.400 € - 57.800 €
