Join the Treasury Projects team and help turn artificial intelligence and automation opportunities into practical, controlled solutions for Treasury.

You will work at the intersection of treasury, data, technology and change management, partnering with treasury experts and relevant corporate functions to improve the efficiency, reliability and reusability of processes and deliverables.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of Treasury AI and automation use cases, from needs identification through feasibility assessment and prioritisation.
  • Run interviews and workshops with Treasury stakeholders to map pain points, data sources, controls, expected benefits and operational constraints.
  • Prototype practical solutions using approved AI and automation tools, with a focus on rapid learning, user feedback and reuse.
  • Support pilots in areas such as recurring reporting and communications, unusual cash or FX analysis, hedging preparation, banking documentation review, cash forecasting, payment-risk or anomaly detection, and knowledge retrieval.
  • Prepare, clean and structure data inputs; define validation rules; test outputs; document limitations; and organise review by the relevant Treasury expert.
  • Design simple workflows, reusable prompts, templates, playbooks or no-code automations that can be embedded in day-to-day Treasury routines.
  • Define pilot success measures covering time saved, output quality, user adoption, control effectiveness and scalability; communicate findings clearly.
  • Contribute to project coordination, progress reporting, risk tracking, documentation and handover to business owners and, where relevant, Finance and IS&T teams.
  • Promote responsible use of AI by applying approved-tool, confidentiality, cybersecurity, traceability and human-validation requirements.

  • Ability to translate a business need into a structured problem, test plan and documented solution.

  • Rigorous in handling data, documenting assumptions and validating results.
