Could you be the full-time Project Planning Manager in St-Bruno on Montreal’s South Shore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your project planning expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, dynamic, and multicultural teammates.
You'll play a crucial role in managing timelines and ensuring the performance of complex projects, contributing to their overall success. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, procurement, partners, and suppliers), coordinate and facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensure the quality and reliability of planning data, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and maintaining reliable reference schedules, analyzing variances and associated risks, and proposing concrete action plans to optimize timelines and support decision-making.
We’ll look to you for:

Developing, structuring, and maintaining project schedules in line with the schedule management plan and internal frameworks

Regularly updating schedules based on progress data and project team contributions

Collecting, consolidating, and verifying progress data (both physical and calendar-based)

Contributing to the analysis of schedule variances (delays, drifts, critical impacts) and identifying associated risks

Preparing and producing planning reports and performance indicators as per project requirements

Actively participating in periodic schedule reviews and project steering committees

Monitoring deviations and proactively alerting core project teams

Collaborating with transversal teams to ensure stakeholder alignment

A higher education degree (engineering or equivalent university degree)

Experience in project planning, ideally in an industrial environment (engineering, construction, transportation, energy, etc.)

Proficiency in planning tools (such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent)

Strong command of office tools, particularly Excel (data analysis)

Knowledge of project management principles and planning methods

Analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong sensitivity to timeline-related challenges

Ability to thrive in multi-stakeholder and multicultural environments

Functional French (candidates actively learning French will also be considered); English required to communicate with clients, partners, or teams outside Quebec
