Could you be the full-time onsite Service System Engineering Manager in Katowice, PL we’re looking for?
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply Service System Engineering Manager, to lead a team of highly skilled system engineers responsible for delivering reliable and secure services. This role combines people leadership, operational excellence, and technical oversight to ensure the successful operation and continuous improvement of critical services and infrastructure.
You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll be pivotal in the Field Engineering of all Service PKP PLK Projects, ensuring the successful execution, investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical/quality issues. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support).
We’ll look to you for:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Service System Engineers
- Drive team performance through coaching, goal setting, and regular feedback
- Manage resource planning, workload prioritization, and capacity management
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of supported services and platforms
- Oversee incident response, problem management, and service restoration activities.

Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastracture or IT operations is highly desirable
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing team members
- Experience managing complex technical incidents and operational escalations
- Minimum bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- Fluency in Polish is a must, English – min. B2
