Responsibilities:

  • Preparing a full set of design and manufacturing documentation for safety related products family, including:
  • Assembly drawings of terminal strips
  • Electrical wiring diagrams
  • Cables and interconnecting harnesses
  • Material specifications
  • Descriptive and supporting documents
  • Active role during the design process
  • Verification and implementation in practical application
  • Preparing documentation, change descriptions,
  • Preparing test stands, providing support during testing procedures,
  • Cooperative with other departments e.g. mechanical, software development teams.
  • Contribution to the elaboration of hardware specification & architecture, in collaboration with the Product Manager and System Architect, for newly designed solutions
  • Supervising the realization of the prototypes by the Manufacturing team
  • Application of processes and standards

 

Qualifications:

  • BSc / MA Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field
  • Relevant work experience in electrical/electronic design position
  • High attention to details with meticulous approach to documentation & analytical mindset
  • Very good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to cooperate with cross-functional teams
  • English allowing business communication

 

Would be an asset:

  • Previous test performance/ test environment practice
  • Experience in the railway industry or in the industry with similar safety requirements (aeronautics, automotive, military)
  • knowledge of issues related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
  • knowledge of EDA programs
  • working with laboratory equipment
