Your future role
Reporting to Tender Procurement Director AMECA, you’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll develop and implement sourcing strategies at the tender phase to ensure optimal cost productivity, such as identifying preferred suppliers, conducting saving and risk assessments, and much more. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Bid Management, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain), challenge commodity buyers & managers to increase competitiveness, and ensure convergence of commodity strategies with Tenders.
We’ll look to you for:
- Liaising effectively with the Engineering Department, Bid Managers, and various stakeholders to prepare tender sourcing commitments.
- Challenging commodity buyers and managers to drive competitiveness and ensure alignment of commodity strategies with tenders.
- Managing sourcing Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance (QCDP) commitments within the tender.
- Consolidating sourcing commitments in the tender phase, including the actualization.
- Collecting and formalizes Return of Experience on projects deployed in the region
- Leading the negotiation of Prebid agreements during the tender phase when it presents a significant advantage.
- Building realistic, competitive and on-time tender cost commitment
Skill and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline, with 5 years' work experience in Procurement
- High level of analytical skills and experience in driving global tender processes.
- Ability for international travel.
- Fluent in English.
