Your future role

You will report to PI Support Manager and work closely with the Product Introduction (PI) team, project teams, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders within the X80 project.In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of customer inspection remarks across the train fleet. You will ensure that activities are properly planned, organized, and executed in accordance with project requirements regarding quality, safety, delivery, and performance.The position is based at Sävenäs Depot in Gothenburg.

  • Organize, coordinate, and lead the closure of all open points requiring rework during the warranty period, ensuring timely resolution, stakeholder alignment, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive and monitor action plans to address technical, quality, and operational issues identified before and during the warranty phase.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Field Operations, and Customer representatives) to ensure effective execution of corrective actions.
  • Manage tools, industrialization activities, and industrial data management for the PI implementation team.
  • Manage and improve the industrial performance of projects by deploying lean tools and continuous improvement practices.
  • Share and implement best practices across the industrial network.
  • Dispatch technical documentation and liaise with field modification teams to support implementation and issue resolution.
  • Define and implement relevant quality self-inspection activities to secure the quality of rework and modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and all applicable work-related processes.
  • Capture and capitalize on Return on Experience (REX) from rework activities and field modifications to optimize processes, documentation, costs, and execution timelines.
  • Provide regular reporting on warranty open points, risks, progress, and resolution status to management and key stakeholders.

  • Degree or technical background in mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Basic IT knowledge and understanding of workplace safety (EHS)
  • Experience or exposure to industrialization, configuration management, or field activities
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and in operational environments
  • Strong coordination, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders and customers
  • Fluency English; Swedish and railway or ISR knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent in English
