Could you be the full-time onsite Production Manager in Cancun, ROO, MX we’re looking for?
Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and operational expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met while delivering fully functional trains to our customers on time. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business , manage a production team of 11 to 50 professionals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and performance, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Managing a production team, including monitoring and controlling production on a shift-by-shift basis.

Defining and delegating accountability for production tasks.

Identifying staffing requirements to ensure flexibility and high levels of productivity.

Driving organizational change to optimize working practices and maintain a productive workforce.

Identifying training and resource needs to facilitate effective production.
-
Ensuring all production meets safety and quality requirements as per internal standards and customer specifications.

Monitoring working practices and the environment to ensure compliance with mandatory and statutory requirements.

Minimizing depot-operating costs and maximizing efficiency through effective resource planning and overtime control.

Reviewing work plans to meet daily production targets and analyzing failures to achieve them.

Proactively identifying and implementing areas for continuous improvement in processes and operations.

Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Higher National Certificate preferable).

Experience or understanding of managing large teams (10+ staff), preferably in fleet and/or maintenance operations.

Knowledge of traction and rolling stock, with an understanding of railway depot and railway industry operations being advantageous.

Familiarity with SAP, MS Office packages, and intranet tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong manpower management skills to lead and motivate teams effectively.

Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight delivery deadlines.

A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

An understanding of customer requirements and the ability to build strong external relationships.
