Services Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

 

  • Benchmark and build best in class Industry models for Maintenance Strategies for Urban and Mainline Maintenance Services.  
  • Along with Services Bid Manager, devise, manage and control ILS strategy for each commodity.
  • Liaisons with Regional Product Experts and projects RAM/Warranty team to feedback right REX in order to prepare comprehensive and competitive offers.
  • Has the role of Bid Technical Manager for Services.
  • Maintain Installed Base data / BoQ.
  • Maintain Life Cycle Cost up to date for Urban Solutions. Work closely with Services Bid Manager and Services Platform to manage interventions needed on LCC.
  • Update Life Cycle Cost for specific offers and create Maintenance plan & preparation for costing.
  • Commit on the technical part of the bids and ensure it is in line with Solut.ions strategy
  • Get technical validation of DIS Project Engineering Director or RC Project Engineering Director
  • Analyse, with the support of System Application Architect(s), the potential gaps between the customer's specification and ADM generic Systems and Products, and support Bid Manager and Tender Leader in defining the optimal compliance strategy

Coordinate, on a technical point of view, the bid internal stakeholders (Installation, Testing &

  • Commissioning, RCs Project Engineering, S&P) and the external stakeholders (if applicable) to ensure overall understanding of the bid technical strategy (incl. scheme plan, rough BOM: Bill Of Material, migration strategy, ...); PDO (Project Design Organization).
  • Contribute to the Project Engineering quotation and risks evaluation.
  • Produce the technical documentation to be provided with the tender proposal
  • Build analysis and/or clause-by-clause of technical bid documents
  • Support Bid Manager during the negotiation with the Customer, identifying any technical change during that phase

 Requirements: 

 

  • Shall posses an Engineering Degree with a Minimum Experience of 15 years in SIgnalling & Telecom for Urban Rail & Mainline  
  • Shall have experience in RAMS / Maintenance / Services for at least five years.
  • Good understanding of the different urban solutions like Distance Go and CBTC.
  • Sound technical knowhow/Expertise especially in Legacy Products/Solutions (U200). Hands on knowledge on products, Operational and Maintenance Manuals (OMPD) and Cause/Effect relationship between Product Performance/Reliability and Customer’s Operational/LCC KPIs.
  • Ability to appreciate Life Cycle Costing of Solutions, Maintainability and Services Orientations to propose technical Solutions/approach.
  • Should have worked in O&M and DLP phases at planning and execution stages.
