Your future role

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vehicles, contributing directly to the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our services. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (technicians, contractors, and other departments), develop and implement maintenance plans, and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of leading maintenance teams and ensuring quality workmanship, but also collaborate across departments to manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
We’ll look to you for:

Leading shifts of maintenance and operation employees, including technicians and contracted staff

Formulating work schedules and assignments to support vehicle maintenance and special events

Providing on-the-job training, re-training, and re-certification to ensure technical knowledge is maintained

Monitoring and evaluating employee performance for quality and efficiency

Developing contingency plans to minimize the impact of changes or events on revenue service
-
Ensuring accurate administrative processes, including time and materials tracking, work order management, and equipment failure analysis

Enforcing safety rules and conducting safety risk analyses and inspections
-
Collaborating across departments to address emergencies and other events affecting revenue service

A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience in maintenance operations or team leadership

Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance processes

Familiarity with safety regulations and risk management

A certification in maintenance management or a related field

Strong organizational and communication skills
-
Ability to analyze and solve problems in a dynamic environment
