Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your legal and contractual expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll make a key impact by ensuring that contracts and legal documents align with Alstom’s standards and values, while managing risks effectively. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as procurement, project management, and sales), evaluate tender documents, and assess third-party due diligence, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, but also promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and supporting adherence to ethical conduct.
We’ll look to you for:
- Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts or other legal documents with an acceptable level of risks
- Conducting contractual and legal evaluations of tender documents
- Performing evaluation and due diligence of third parties, including customers, suppliers, and other partners
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Providing sound legal advice to internal stakeholders
- Supporting compliance with company policies and procedures
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Degree in Law or equivalent qualification
- Experience or understanding of contract law and legal document preparation
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance processes
- Familiarity with tender evaluations and third-party due diligence
- A certification in legal or compliance-related fields
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
