For our site in Zurich, Switzerland, we are currently looking to recruit a Train Control Software Development Engineer.
 
Tasks
•    Development of control, visualization and diagnostics software for Locomotives
•    Review of customer and system requirements
•    Preparation of concepts and design documentation
•    Design and programming of the software functionalities
•    Module and system test, in the laboratory and on the vehicle
•    Support of the test team during test phase
•    Documentation and impact analysis of software changes
•    Presentation of results to the Project leader and assessors
•    Support test institutes and assessors during the validation and approval
•    Participation in technical customer meetings


Qualifications


•    Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or Computer Science
•    Experience in CAN, Wired-Train-Bus, Ethernet, IPT Com
•    Software development in C / C ++, IEC 61131
•    System modelling in UML / SysML
•    Experience in software development and testing and in real-time control systems and real-time bus systems
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as team spirit
•    Willingness to travel
•    Fluent English and German
