We are currently looking to recruit a Traction Project Manager (f/m/d) - 80 - 100% for our location in Zurich, Switzerland



  • Achieve QCDP objectives of project scope
  • Cascade and allocate sub-system requirements and QCDP objectives to project core team members
  • Ensure compliance with applicable rules, instructions and standards, process & tools: Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, Sourcing.
  • Plan, monitor, control and manage end-to-end activities (scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, saving, opportunities)
  • Coordinate and support consistent cross-functional execution of objectives, activities and deliverables (Engineering, R&D programmes, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Indus when applicable, RAMS…)
  • Actively contribute to the resolution of overarching/transverse optimizations or issues
  • Lead teams in successful achievement of project objectives, synchronize stakeholders at sub-system level and ensure stakeholder alignments
  • Alert in case of deviations impacting project objectives; actively contribute to risks and opportunity management
  • Perform project level decisions and change management
  • Manage project situation and KPI, and report with transparency.



  • Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project execution/ Product development.
  • Being able to understand the organization, the processes and the products involved and decide independently when significant impact on QCD make it necessary to involve next level.
  • Experience with Propulsion system interfaces and project delivery in the same business.
  • Leadership, entrepreneurship mindset and result oriented
  • Good Knowledge of Project management processes, IPMA level C (or equivalent)
  • Capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-metier teams
  • Fluent in English and German.
