Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your System Engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Systems Engineering Manager, and work alongside other System Engineers. You'll Lead in the development and / or improvement of tools and processes within the business.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business. You’ll specifically take care of Delivery of project solutions, but also support the project in the field by providing second line product support to customers.
We'll look to you for:
• Ensure delivery of standardised objectives and optimum systems solutions on allocated project
• Delivery of project solutions ensuring focus on reliability, maintainability and safety principles.
• Work with the Systems Engineering Manager to establish matters of best practice
• Technical team leadership for Systems Engineers.
• Attendance at business and technical briefings

• MSc or BSc level education in an engineering related subject, preferably control systems / electrical. engineering / systems engineering or equivalent Corporate Member of an engineering institute
• Knowledge of PTS
• Familiarity of the UK railway safety approval processes

• Self-motivated with a desire to learn
• Able to work independently
• A strong team player, with effective interpersonal skills.
