Are you ready to be part of a team that drives excellence in supply chain and planning? At Alstom, we are looking for an Industrial Planner to join our dynamic Supply Chain department. This role involves managing the adequacy between demand (firm and forecast) and resources (manufacturing and procurement) to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD), and project timelines, all while optimizing site resources such as people, machines, and cash. 

You will work closely with internal teams across manufacturing, testing, project management, procurement, and finance to ensure seamless planning and execution. Your ability to apply Industrial Planning Golden Rules, maintain data accuracy in Core Planning Tools/ERP, and adhere to Alstom’s EHS (Environment Health Safety) standards will be key to your success. 

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Capturing and consolidating demand forecasts from various teams and ensuring their consistency
  • Building and updating the Master Production Schedule, considering material, workforce, and machine availability
  • Collaborating on planning instances such as Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and ensuring alignment with global and local strategies
  • Monitoring production plan adherence, analyzing root causes of delays, and proposing solutions to recover plans
  • Performing bottleneck analysis and resource management to optimize production plans

  • A Master’s degree from a university or engineering school (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in supply chain or planning (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of end-to-end industrial planning processes and their impact on ERP systems (desirable)
  •  Proficiency in Core Planning Tools, ERP, and Excel
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A proactive and innovative mindset
  • Customer-oriented approach with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work autonomously and synthesize critical issues
