Could you be the full-time onsite Project Security Manager in New Haven, CT we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive security management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, professional, and vigilant teammates. You'll safeguard the lives of Alstom employees and visitors, ensure the security of our sites and assets, and protect sensitive information within the CTDOT CTrail Hartford Line/CTrail Shore Line East projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including law enforcement, social services, and transit staff), coordinate comprehensive security measures, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Development and management of a strategic security program, including policy and procedure establishment,

Coordination as the point of contact for CTDOT-approved security initiatives, collaborating with multiple stakeholders,

Collaboration with law enforcement and social service entities to address community challenges,

Monitoring and identifying potential security threats, including soft target attacks,
-
Preparation and provision of a System Security Plan in line with CTDOT’s SSP and TSA guidelines,
-
Participation in community outreach and directing law enforcement to areas of increased crime

Degree in Business Administration, law enforcement, security, or equivalent training,

Experience or understanding of military, law enforcement, or security field operations,

Knowledge of national and/or local security environments and security issues,

Familiarity with crisis management protocols and security planning,

Previous experience in drafting security plans and managing security programs,
-
Crisis management ability and experience in high-stress environments,
-
Analytical and problem-solving skills to implement and review security measures,
-
Ability to adapt to constant change and manage multiple tasks

Salary Range
- $105,000 - $145,000 USD
This position is contingent on Alstom's successful appointment for supporting this venture with CTDOT.
