Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.
You'll play a key role in driving the execution of highly critical projects, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and customer expectations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Customer Directors, Line Managers, and Support Functions), manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee project governance and performance, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining project strategies and objectives, as well as managing resources and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and standards, but also lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

We’ll look to you for:

Driving project Quality, Cost, Delivery, Planning (QCDP), and Environment Health & Safety (EHS) performance

Defining project strategies and objectives aligned with contract requirements

Leading and coordinating project activities from transfer to close-out, including resource management and team engagement
-
Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and managing variation orders
-
Proactively managing risks, opportunities, and savings
-
Reporting project progress and KPIs with transparency to senior management
-
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders

15 years of experience as a project manager in the railway industry, including at least 5 years leading medium-critical projects

IPMA level A certification or equivalent is desirable

Strong project management skills and familiarity with project management processes

Knowledge of railway products, systems, and construction management
-
Advanced negotiation, conflict resolution, and crisis management skills
-
Ability to manage complex customer relationships
-
Leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and result-oriented approach
-
Capacity to navigate political contexts and manage complexity
-
Fluency in English and German.
