Could you be the full-time Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) Engineer in Vienna we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Franz Santner, Services Engineering Manager, and work alongside passionate, motivated and flexible teammates.


Within the project team, you will be responsible for all Logistic Support Analysis deliverables and you will be responsible for all electrical engineering deliverables and you will manage functionally the associated multi-metier team (Schematics & Apparatus and Mechanical routing).


We’ll look to you for:

  • Define maintenance plan and design of Logistic Support Analysis elements (MTA- Maintenance Task Analysis, LCC-Life cycle cost, LORA- Level of Repair Analysis, RCM- Level of Repair Analysis)
  • Define spare part allocation for first provisional
  • Validation of support solution and associated maintenance documentation or training toolkit
  • Manage Logistic Support Analysis activities to deliver Quality, Cost, Delivery commitments 
  • Write Logistic Support Analysis Management plan
  • Ensure technical interfaces with Rolling Stock, Components, Signalling and Infra teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical & system architect, sourcing, Logistic Support Analysis for equipment and from suppliers)
  • Manage Definition of Logistic Breakdown Structure in consistency with Design Engineering Bill of Material definition
  • Elaborate maintenance plan
  • Elaborate life cycle cost calculations and analyses
  • Ensure compliancy between spare part consumption model and maintenance strategy
  • Validate content of the technical maintenance documentation and training toolkit

  • Experience in Maintenance & Warranty Support
  • Good understanding of train maintenance requirements and costs
  • German and English language mandatory

The minimum salary for this position is 42,250 euro gross/year for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications.
