Could you be the full-time Carbody Domain Leader (f/m/d) in Vienna we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
From Vienna to the world: our Viennese site is a global competence center for trams and light rail vehicles. 800 colleagues develop and manufacture the Flexity™ tram for worldwide customers from Austria to Australia. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to RICHARD ZEMANN, Train Design Metier Manager and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :

Manage the development of the domain to ensure the adequacy of the capacity vs workload vs skills and the transfer of activities if needed

Define Domain fixed costs and workload to secure project QCD commitments and formalizing hypothesis taken

Allocate adequate resources to the projects/programs/tenders
-
Suppor the Domain in the resolution of issues and challenging actions in particular those involving other stakeholders

Report on Domain activities progress and alerting in case of main issue (capacity, skills, rule applicability, etc.)

Mechanical Engineering background applied to structural systems

Significant experience in Railway products

Experience of 5+ years team management

Fluency in English and German

Good communication and interpersonal skills
