Could you be the full-time Fleet Planner / Depot Planner in Etobicoke and Whitby, Canada, we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your planning, analytical, and stakeholder-management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient fleet availability through data-driven planning and proactive condition management. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations, to align planning assumptions with execution, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and maintaining integrated fleet and depot maintenance plans, but also monitoring fleet condition and managing fleet movements.
We’ll look to you for:

Developing and maintaining long-, medium-, and short-term fleet and depot maintenance plans aligned with operational and safety requirements

Proactively adjusting plans based on fleet condition, performance trends, and operational demand

Monitoring fleet condition and defect trends to inform planning priorities

Using data and analytics to reduce unplanned maintenance events and improve fleet reliability

Planning and balancing labour, materials, and depot capacity for efficient maintenance delivery

Collaborating with stakeholders to align planning with execution and communicate risks or changes
-
Tracking maintenance execution and leading recovery planning when needed
-
Applying planning governance, standards, and tools to ensure consistency and compliance

Coordinating maintenance activities across outstations and managing fleet movements

Driving continuous improvement in planning processes and outcomes

Post-secondary education in Engineering, Planning, Data Analysis, Operations, or a related discipline

2 years of experience in a planning, operational, or complex multi-stakeholder environment (co-op/internship experience acceptable)

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Ability to work with data, follow structured processes, and support planning decisions

Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Willingness to learn and grow in a safety-critical environment
-
Experience with maintenance planning principles and asset lifecycle management
-
Familiarity with CMMS tools (Maximo preferred) and business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred)

Compensation The expected compensation for this role is $72,000 to $90,000, based on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
