Could you be the full-time onsite Traction Engineering-Electrical in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your detailed Power Electronics design expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, driven, and collaborative teammates. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of railway systems by ensuring the detailed Electrical Power Design of Propulsion equipment meets the highest standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Purchasing, Quality, and Industrialization), specify Electrical components of Traction drives or Auxiliary Converter and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Defining the interfaces of electrical components with the mechanical department,

Preparing the power design reviews and participating in technical core team meetings,
-
Collaborating with purchasing, quality, and industrialization functions to ensure successful delivery of equipment to customers,
-
Managing design change and waiver requests related to non-compliances,
-
Leveraging your experience in Power Electronics design to drive innovation and excellence,
-
Ensuring that project schedules are met and quality designs are delivered on time,
-
Utilizing your fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office to communicate effectively and manage project tasks,
-
Adhering to EHS rules/standards and demonstrating professional ethics and a sense of responsibility
