Could you be the full-time hybrid Project Planner in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your rigorous, structured expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside proactive, collaborative, and adaptable teammates. You'll play a crucial role in supporting transportation projects, ensuring the successful delivery of our Rolling Stock contracts. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, production, procurement), engage in critical path method planning using Primavera software, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Detailed understanding of infrastructure and manufacturing projects, including design, construction, and commissioning processes,

  • Expert utilization of Primavera P6 software and comprehensive knowledge of the Enterprise database,

  • Accurate definition and articulation of project schedules with clarity and precision,

  • Application of design and production planning principles within project scope,

  • Autonomous work as well as collaborative team engagement in the development and execution of project schedules,

  • Effective communication and management of interfaces with engineering, production, and procurement disciplines with minimal supervision,

  • Demonstration of proficiency in Project Controls techniques such as budget and spend management, change control, data analysis, and trend analysis,

  • Adherence to internal planning processes and work instructions to ensure consistency and accurate reporting across projects

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, or other related field (equivalent experience may substitute for the degree),

  • Experience or understanding of Critical Path Method scheduling in a Primavera environment,

  • Familiarity with design and production planning principles,

  • P6 certification or demonstrated proficiency in Primavera P6 software,

  • Knowledge of project planning and performance data analysis,

  • Ability to challenge project teams and be proactive in proposing solutions,

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
