Could you be the full-time onsite Product Industrialization Manager in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll ensure that industrial requirements are seamlessly integrated into product design, significantly contributing to the efficiency and success of our engineering processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Engineering, Production, Quality, and EHS), monitor and manage co-engineering activities, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring that industrial requirements are well understood and taken into account by Engineering during product specification and preliminary design phases,
-
Designing the global macro-process based on standard SMP and preparing for the introduction of new technologies with a process validation plan,
-
Building the plan for tooling and other specific manufacturing equipment and contributing to the IMP (Industrial Management Plan),
-
Monitoring the process Method Time vs target and ensuring the availability of tools and workstations on schedule, consistent with EHS requirements, ergonomics, and quality,

Setting up the industrialization planning including all activities: co-engineering activities, P-FMEA, deliverables milestones, FAR/FAI,

Performing P-FMEA and ensuring that industrial documentation is issued in due time with the appropriate quality level

Degree in Engineering/ technical equivalent or engineering management, or other related field,

Experience or understanding of Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in the railway industry,

Knowledge of Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing,
-
Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up,
-
Experience in project management,
-
Good leadership skills,
-
Understanding of Process FMEA, QRQC is preferred,

Familiarity with IS common tools is preferred
