Could you be the full-time onsite Mechanical Design Engineer in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, detail-oriented, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute to the evolution of Automated People Mover (APM) platform vehicles, impacting the future of sustainable transportation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Sourcing, Industrialization, and Manufacturing), perform detailed mechanical design on internal subsystems, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Performing 3D design annotations and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments,

  • Performing detailed design on internal subsystems,

  • Verifying consistency of digital mock-up and compliance with requirements,

  • Updating Digital mock-up taking into account Change Requests,

  • Checking CADs and sub-contractors design quality,

  • Modeling and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems/components/compartments in Digital Mock-Up


All about you

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field,

  • Experience or understanding of mechanical and electro/mechanical product design and integration,

  • Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD software, with proficiency in Solidworks, AutoCad, and preference for Catia V5,

  • Familiarity with engineering processes and digital mock-up tools,

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

  • Structured, organized, and hands-on approach to tasks
