Responsibilities

- Special Process focus.

Manage Manufacturing Engineering team:

-Define and update the function procedures, ways of working and methodologies, according to the guideline defined by central PME for the following special processes - Torquing, Riveting, Bonding and Crimping.

-Ensure the staffing of the team according to the projects firm and forecasted workload.

-Build induction and training program for the new comers.

-Maintain the skills matrix of his team and build the annual training plan.

-Deploy industrialization standards: Method Time, EHS, Ergonomics, Work Instructions.

-Deploy industrialization methodologies: ICONE, P-FMEA, Control Plan, QRQC, Task Sequencing.

-Deploy IS tools for industrialization: PLM (DELMIA), ERP (GSI), MES.

-Increase maturity of the team using APSYS roadmap.

-Support product / project industrialization:

-In coordination with the PIM, follow the progress of industrial deliverables.

-Support the team while performing industrialization activities (ex.: P-FMEA, internal FAI…)

-Ensure Method Time is well calculated.

-Ensure Master data are accurate and at the good quality level

-Ensure good quality of the deliverables: WI, Task Sequencing, etc.

-Ensure ergonomics and EHS rules are well taken into account.

-Ensure Special Process are well managed within Industrialization activities.

-Support Production:

-Identify needs of specific Method support.

-Bring help during first articles manufacturing

-Organize and manage productivity actions.

 

 

Educational Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in engineering, process engineering, mechanical, electronics, electrical, or other related field.

 

 

Desired Knowledge / Experience

-Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering background with 5 to 10 years’ experience preferably in the railway industry.

-Team management experience

-Technical experience of Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing.

-Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up

-Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.

-Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (CATIA, DELMIA…)

-Familiar with IS common tools.

-Process FMEA, QRQC.
