Could you be the full-time onsite Logistic Engineer in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll design, develop, and implement solutions that significantly improve logistic flows, meeting QCDE targets and aligning with regional priorities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Operations, Material Planning, Warehouse, Procurement, Manufacturing, and ERP teams), manage standard packaging solutions and budget follow-up, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Implementing and managing standard packaging solutions, including purchase, design, prototype, validation, and budget follow-up,

Applying protective solutions for parts throughout all logistic operations, including transport, unloading, storage, and line feeding,

Saving money and cash by calculating ROI, designing standard packaging, reducing transport costs, and making business cases for investments,

Collaborating with Regional Logistic Engineering to identify improvements in the value chain and capturing added value,

Managing Project Supply Chain specifications and negotiating with suppliers at site and project levels,
-
Designing internal logistic processes and ensuring accurate ERP parameters for stock strategy and activity-based costing classification,

Working with technical services to improve ergonomics at workstations and reduce waste packaging,

Reducing labor time in warehouse operations and production processes

Degree in Engineering or equivalent,

Experience or understanding of industrial environments and supply chain management,

Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP modules related to Warehouse Management and Inventory Management,

Familiarity with logistic processes including packaging, warehousing, and transport,
-
Exceptional problem-solving skills,
-
Experience in managing projects and budgets,

Understanding of lean management principles and EHS requirements
