Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and technical sales expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll drive aftermarket service success by supporting sales and delivery across parts, component repair and overhaul (CRO), and vehicle-level aftermarket solutions, ensuring customer requirements are transformed into effective technical solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Sales, Aftermarket Services, and Engineering), develop tailored solutions for aftermarket offerings, and act as the lead technical contributor for TSSSA product development support, providing field insights to strengthen offerings across North America, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Collaborating with the Sales team, Aftermarket Services team, and internal resources to develop tailored solutions for aftermarket offerings.,

Delivering accurate and timely specification interpretation, quotation support, planning, and technical support for Aftermarket Services.,

Acting as the team’s lead technical contributor for TSSSA product development support, providing direction, coordination, and field insight to strengthen the TSSSA offering across North America.,

Participating in bid calls, presentations, and customer quotations using company pricing and delivery guidelines.,

Developing and maintaining engineering sales decks and marketing materials related to Services Engineering.,

Coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.,

Supporting the development of sales strategies and materials that enhance customer understanding of Alstom’s aftermarket portfolio.,

Participating in customer-facing “Walk the Train” activities by riding and inspecting railcars to assess equipment condition, operational practices, and customer pain points.,

Translating real-world railcar insights into actionable recommendations that align with customer goals and drive business growth.,

Ensuring proposed solutions comply with industry safety standards and regulatory requirements while staying informed on evolving rail regulations and technologies."

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in the transportation or rail industry. ,

Experience or understanding of the transportation sector, preferably in the rail industry, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. ,

Knowledge of technical sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. ,

Familiarity with key customers and market trends in the rail industry. ,

Excellent communication and presentation skills. ,

Strong time management and planning abilities. ,

Ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of Alstom’s service capabilities and effectively apply that knowledge to identify and propose customer-focused solutions. ,

Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills. ,

Understanding of the sales process and ability to build strong customer relationships. ,

Ability to leverage internal resources to meet customer and organizational needs.
