Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your contract management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, driven, and innovative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring Alstom’s interests are safeguarded across projects, partners, and suppliers while driving proactive strategies to mitigate risks. You’ll specifically take care of implementing contract management tools and strategies, but also defining and driving claim preparation and risk mitigation roadmaps.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Establishing and implementing contract management tools, processes, and strategies across dedicated Cluster.

  • Coordinating and animating the Cluster’s/Country’s Contract Management community.

  • Anticipating risks and proposing alternative proactive solutions aligned with Alstom’s business objectives.

  • Defining claim strategies for critical projects and ensuring robust claim preparation and record-keeping.

  • Driving accurate risk assessments and supporting Project Core Team Members in determining risk appetite.

  • Reporting on claim status and strategies to management.

  • Performing contract management responsibilities for projects under your direct management.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • A degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Technical, Economics, or Business Sciences or similar.

  • Solid experience in contract management, project legal, or project management roles, preferably in industrial sectors such as railways, oil & gas, or construction-related fields.

  • Proven expertise in risk assessment, claim preparation, and contract negotiation.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; fluency in a second language (e.g., French) is a plus.

  • Professional certification in Contract Management is an advantage.

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

  • Ability to develop and implement proactive strategies to achieve business objectives.
