Your Future Role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in embedded electronics, industrial computing, or embedded systems to a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates and play a key role in the development and validation of the Agate Control 4 (AC4) platform, one of Alstom’s strategic onboard solutions, notably responsible for train traction control management.
You'll work closely with the programme development teams, including System Engineers and Software Development Engineers, contributing to the specification and design of integration and test means while actively supporting continuous improvement and validation methodology capitalisation across the programme.
Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for defining validation strategies, performing laboratory testing activities, and producing the associated technical documentation.
We'll look to you for:
- Contributing to the definition of the validation strategy;
- Tailoring Verification & Validation (V&V) strategies to customer needs in terms of quality, cost, and delivery;
- Specifying, designing, and developing integration and test means (test benches, data acquisition tools, simulation software, etc.);
- Ensuring compliance with reference processes, methods, and tools;
- Developing and executing manual and automated tests, issuing test reports, and investigating detected anomalies;
- Acting as a technical interface with other engineering disciplines (Systems, Software, etc.);
- Providing technical support to product users;
- Contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the validation community;
- Performing tests in laboratory environments and potentially at integrator sites;
- Communicating effectively in English within an international environment.

We value passion and attitude over experience. That's why we don't expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we've listed some that we believe will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Computing, Embedded Systems, or a related field;
- Experience in, or understanding of, highly technical embedded electronics environments;
