We're offering you the chance to join the TCMS Platform development program, the aim of which is to implement and integrate the on-board (basic software) and off-board (workbench) technological solution that will enable Alstom Rolling Stock integrators to develop and deploy their TCMS (Train Control & Monitoring System) project solution.
As part of the development of this program, we are looking for a :
Validation & Verification Manager - TCMS Platform (M/F)
As V&V Manager, you will play a key role in several stages of the development cycle: from the upstream phase of capturing customer requirements through to delivery to internal customers.
You will be working in a stimulating systems environment on innovative subjects with strong network, cybersecurity and safety constraints, in conjunction with numerous Alstom development programs, and in close proximity to the majority of Alstom's Rolling Stock projects.
Your tasks
As V&V Manager, you will be responsible for managing all Validation & Verification activities, and will be required to :
Define the overall Verification & Validation strategy to ensure appropriate coverage and demonstration that design requirements are met
Manage, adapt and implement the test automation strategy
Defining and ensuring the planning of V&V activities
Functionally manage the program verification and validation team and support/assure/control their workloads and deliverables
Participate in the elaboration of test plans, the conduct of tests and the investigation of any anomalies detected.
Ensuring that reference processes, methods and tools are applied and complied with
Organising and leading verification and document reviews
Defining requirements, architecture and monitoring the implementation of test benches and analysis tools
Acting as the technical interface with the other teams, in particular with the system, software and safety teams.
You are our ideal candidate if...
You have a 5-year degree in computer science/electronics from an engineering school or equivalent university.
You have at least 5 years' significant experience in validation, preferably in the field of embedded control/command.
Knowledge of development languages and tools for test equipment is required (Python, Robot Framework, etc.).
Experience in a similar role (V&V Leader/Manager) will also be a real plus for this position.
Your leadership skills will enable you to drive forward your ideas and inspire the people with whom you interface.
You're rigorous, you're good at summarising, you're good at solving technical problems and at taking decisions.
You're passionate about software and new technologies, and you enjoy working in a team and network in an agile, multicultural environment.
You will be based at our premises in Villeurbanne (Metro Line A, Tramway T3 - La Soie), 20 minutes by public transport from Part Dieu station.
