INTRODUCTION

This position is based in on our Signalling Villeurbanne site (800 people), specialized in designing and manufacturing electronics systems on board and on tracks (traction, monitoring, passenger information, network…) to develop future train intelligence.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Part of Alstom Digital Mobility France Sourcing team, you have to :

 

* Manage the sourcing activity of the Project - specifically scope of work for Urban and High Speed platforms

* Launch Request For Quotations (RFQ) to the Alstom panel of suppliers in line with commodity strategies after the GO RFQ meeting

* Negotiate with the supplier Panel to reach the Business Award in line with Quality Cost Delay (QCD) requirements

* Follow-up cost variations until First Article Inspection

* Drive Solution / Sourcing Domains relation to define the Platform Sourcing Strategy

* Drive material cost optimisation of the Reference Library

* Consolidate sourcing QCD commitment at tender phase

* Propose the split "common VS specific", as well as the list of items to be challenged in project phase (according to complexity, spent, available timing etc). Issues the first retroplanning, including Design For Quality sourcing milestones, with tender planning hypothesis (to be presented to Tender QCD reviews)

 

PROFILE :

You have a significant sourcing experience in industrial and complex environment.

You are rigorous, have good interpersonal skills and ability to anticipate and convince.
