Within Train Control & Information Systems (TC&IS) department of the Component platform, you will deliver an IT wayside sub-system solution to our customer. This IT wayside system, which can be on customer premise or in the cloud,  ensures the train operation through a communication channel between the train and the ground system (Wifi/4G/5G…).


In liaise with Information Systems Solution Director you report to, IS Wayside/ground Sub-System Manager is in charge to set, drive and sustain TC&IS R&D development Program and associated Products.
You are in charge to define and consolidate the IT wayside/ground solution vs onboard IS solution, to define the interfaces (protocols...) that shall be considered and to define the Integration & Validation (I&V) strategy of the different applications on the wayside.
At last, you are in charge to assess the performance of the proposed solution.


Your main duties (and not limited to the below) :

- You capture and define user needs and ensure consistencies in requirements definition

- Your analysis & reports of project gaps versus standard architecture contribute to the solution roadmap


You will :

- write/manage specifications
- modelize the design (if needed)
- contribute to validation plan to ensure global consistency with the overall roadmap
- define external interfaces with each Sub-Systems
- ensure that all Domain / Metier activities follow quality processes.


You report and share progress and results all along the development cycle and highlight risk(s) of the program.



Master Degree in Engineering in one of the following domains IT/Telecom/Software
Experience at least 5 years in an industrial or IT environment
Knowledge in modelization (ie: SysML) and tooling (ie: Magic Draw...), and simulation
Experience in IT management/Cloud based architecture and/or SaaS (Software as a Service) agreement is an asset
Knowledge of Scrum methodology, CI/CD environment and Kubernetes is an asset


Able to work in a highly diverse and fast paced environment
Very rigorous and result oriented
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to guide, influence and convince others, while working in an international, diverse and matrix organization.
Autonomous, you define business priorities to deliver as per commitment.
