We are looking for a Design Authority for our Technocentre based in Villeurbanne, Rhône-Alpes region.
The Villeurbanne site (800 employees) specializes in the design and manufacturing of embedded and disembarked electronic systems (Networks and Telecommunications, Cybersecurity Systems and Products, Train Control and Monitoring, Traction Control, Monitoring and Control, Onboard and Ground Signaling).
You will be affiliated with the Villeurbanne Technocentre in the "Computing Systems" division to be the technical reference for the deployment of our railway solutions in the CLOUD.

JOB TITLE: Design Authority Cloud (M/F)
Location: Villeurbanne

Your Future Role
Take on a new challenge and leverage your expertise in Cloud solutions to develop our railway solutions. You will work with an innovative and dynamic team and play a key role in assisting engineering teams to ensure the application of technical governance within our organization.
You will be operationally linked to all R&D programs within the Computing Systems entity, and we will rely on you to:
• Define architectural principles for integrating our railway solutions into the Cloud,
• Assist engineering teams to ensure that standards, methodologies, technical frameworks, and tools associated with Cloud Computing are correctly applied,
• Ensure the technical consistency of ALSTOM solutions deployed in the Cloud,
• Lead design reviews for critical programs and projects,
• Analyze proposed designs, verify their compliance and performance, and propose action plans to correct or mitigate risks,
• Propose technical innovations and develop a technology roadmap aligned with business needs,
• Conduct technological and regulatory monitoring of Cloud computing solutions,
• Support the pre-sales team and ensure consistency between proposals and solution developments,
• Contribute to "Cloud" evangelism within the organization responsible for developing our railway solutions.

Your Profile
We value passion and mindset over experience. That is why we do not expect you to possess every skill. Instead, we have outlined a list of attributes that we believe will help you succeed and thrive in this role:
• Significant experience in Cloud Computing solutions and associated architectural principles, particularly with Microsoft Azure and its service catalog,
• Strong knowledge of virtualization and orchestration solutions,
• Understanding of deployment and operational principles (run) of Cloud Computing solutions,
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions,
• Awareness of cost optimization principles (FinOps) is appreciated.
Given that you will be working in an international context, proficiency in English is essential to communicate with the various stakeholders you will engage with.
You also possess a strong ability to synthesize information and make decisions in a complex environment. With your adaptability, you can work in a team and take responsibility while maintaining transparency and communication.
