Lead the R&D and deployment of the next generation data-driven solutions for Mobility Analytics and other related programs, within a lean startup pathway and in collaboration of data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, HMI designer and devops



  • Understand and transform business cases and customer pain points from different projects to data science specifications
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, data engineers, and machine learning engineers and big data specialists on a wide variety of projects
  • Develop project plans and support documents to drive the deliverables
  • Lead resource located in multiple locations towards a common deliverable
  • Support data-driven programs’ deliverables required by Alstom’s management
  • Communicate and influence audiences of various levels and diverse backgrounds

  • Experience in data project management
  • Experience in delivering data projects to customers
  • Knowledge of Railway or Signalling or Traffic fields
  • Familiarity with Data Science modeling techniques or similar field
  • Solid software skills and knowledge, including python, cpp  and software release management


  • Knowledge about software product design and requirement management
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology and related implementation
  • Knowledge of software design and CI/CD way of delivering data science software modules



  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, to priorities and plans to meet roadmap goals and objectives
  • Ability to lead without having formal authority and to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong combination of communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to listen to customer needs and translate into actionable solutions
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting 
  • Proven capabilities with worldwide teams
  • Fluent English. French is a plus.



  • Engineering or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics or similar field
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or any certification in Agile project management

  • Job located in Saint-Ouen or in Villeurbanne.
