INTRODUCTION

Alstom is a leading supplier of rolling stock, control systems for trains and metros in France and worldwide. These solutions must evolve today to respond to the potential cyber-attacks that can occur on our systems. All solutions, products and projects in progress are affected. Our Engineering Excellence Centers in Saint-Ouen, Bangalore, Melbourne FL, Sao Paulo, Charleroi and Bologna are moving towards an incresed digital approach and are looking for profiles that can analyze and manage the cybersecurity activities on ongoing projects or programs.

The position is integrated into Alstom's Cybersecurity entity, whose mission is to integrate Cybersecurity into Alstom's portfolio of solutions, covering rolling stock, signaling, infrastructure, and turnkey systems. The Villeurbanne site (800 employees) specializes in the design and manufacture of on-board and off-board electronic systems and contributes to all of Alstom's solutions.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the "Cybersecurity Management Office Manager", you will contribe to the transformation of Alstom in the field of Cybersecurity, the definition and maintenance of the Alstom Cybersecurity repository, to cross-functional activities specific to the Cybersecurity organization and to Alstom's external influence related to Cybersecurity. Your expertise will also be put to use by participating in international standardization and standardization working groups.

 
RESPONSABILITIES

  • Contribute to the establishment, maintenance and deployment of the Cybersecurity repository (process, instructions, methods an techncial standards, checkli tools, trainings) and ensure the consolidation of experience feedback for the Cybersecurity discipline.
  • Contribute to the update and deployment of Cybersecurity constraints within all Alstom processes, in interface with the different Alstom Process Owners 
  • Contribute to external work groups related to Cybersecurity such as CENELEC and X2Rail
  • Contribute to capitalization of cybersecurity technical expertise
  • Contribute to cross-functional activities such as the animation of Alstom "Cyberdays"

 
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
To meet the expectations of the position, the candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualities:

  • Engineer or equivalent in Computer Science / Electronics / Generalist
  • Experience in industrial or embedded systems cybersecurity 
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity main standards and regulations, such as: ISO 2700X, 62443, NIST, NIS, French LPM 
  • Good writing and oral communication 
  • Capability to design and deliver trainings
  • Strong adaptability, ability to work in a complex environment
  • English is mandatory
  • Some travels to be planned (e.g. participation to international workshops)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory: University/ Engineer in degree level

Desirable: Cybersecurity certification such as:  GICSP, CISSP, GSEC, CISM, … 
 
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

Mandatory:  Experience in information technology and cybersecurity

Desirable: Knowledgeable of railways business trend, Experience in embedded or industrial systems (railway / aeronautics ...)
