PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Within D&IS (Digital and Integrated Systems) Business Unit:

  • Manage CAD roadmap
  • Deploy CAD roadmap
  • Manage CAD enhancements and interfaces with PLM and ORCHESTRA (PLM stands for Product Lifecycle Management, ORCHESTRA stands for Master Data Management)
  • Manage CAD libraries
  • Lead CAD key-user networks
  • Define and promote CAD best practices
  • Manage Key-users training
  • Monitor effective usage of CAD tools
  • Support process knowledge

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

Describe here main information such as accountabilities, authorities, performance measurements …etc.

  • CAD roadmap:
    • Capture business needs related to CADs evolution (electronical, mechanical, electrical)
    • Monitor and Manage CADs obsolescence (Tool, OS, machine)
    • Define CAD roadmap for electronical, mechanical and electrical disciplines
    • Define migration strategy
    • Build related deployment plan with Regions
  • CAD deployment:
    • Coordinate sites deployment
    • Train and support sites’ key users
  • CAD support:
    • Manage training documentation
    • Manage support documentation (methodologies, best practices, wiki)
    • Lead key user network
    • Follow-up incidents
    • Lead acceptance and regression testing of solved tickets
  • CAD software enhancement and interface with PLM:
    • Manage change requests: specifications, test plans, test reports
    • Interact with IS&T during change process
    • Prototype and develop new features
    • Transfer knowledge to key users regarding new or modified functionalities
  • CAD performance follow-up:
    • Coordinate strategy with Design Authority
    • Measure CAD deployment level
    • Coordinate end users account regular review in relationship with key users
    • Provide inputs for transverse processes update
    • Provide savings figure to update continuously business case

 

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Mandatory:

  • Graduated from engineering school

 

Desirable:

 

Experience Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role

Mandatory:

  • Experience of CAD software (electronical, mechanical, electrical)
  • Knowledge of configuration management, requirement management, verification and validation processes

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of PLM
  • Knowledge of electronical, mechanical and electrical design processes
