Could you be the full-time Site Tenders & Projects Director (f/m/d) in Villeneuve we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic vision and project management expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll lead and coordinate a portfolio of bids and projects, ensuring the achievement of strategic goals while balancing resources and minimizing risks. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Finance, and Product Line teams), oversee project execution, and ensure the deployment of bid and project processes. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of quality, cost, and performance outcomes, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing and developing your team of Bid Managers, Project Managers, and Sub-System Managers, but also support operational activities like risk mitigation and improvement action plans.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Coordinating bids and projects to achieve organizational strategic goals while minimizing portfolio risk

  • Balancing the portfolio to create optimal value for the organization

  • Ensuring timely resource allocation for bids and projects

  • Driving QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and performance accountability for project portfolios

  • Managing and developing a high-performing bid and project team

  • Deploying and monitoring bid and project processes across the site

  • Providing operational support to bid and project teams, including risk management and improvement initiatives

  • Facilitating collaboration between sites and stakeholders to resolve escalated issues


All about you

  • Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field

  • Project Management Certification (IPMA or PMI) is a plus

  • At least 10 years of experience in leading projects and/or bids

  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably with transversal or international assignments

  • Fluency in both English and French is needed; German knowledge is a plus
  • Strategic vision and results-driven mindset

  • Strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization

  • Knowledge of the railway industry is desirable

  • Conflict management and multitasking abilities

  • Customer focus and negotiation skills
