We are looking for a Traction Motor Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)



· Assume technical responsibility for railway traction electric machines, induction or permanent magnets.

· Write specifications clause by clause, identify gaps and adapt machine accordingly.

· Design electrical machines with consideration to mechanical, thermal and acoustic constraints

· Lead development activities within the engineering department and cooperate and collaborate with internal departments.

· Ensure the implementation of the projects according to the design for quality standards.

· Propose product improvements in terms of performance and reliability solutions

· Take charge of R & D topics in terms of results, in compliance with the required quality standards



· Graduate studies MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering field specialised in electric machines

· Experience of 3 years in electric machines

· Experience in electromechanical field for electric machines

· Expert in simulation tools including Flux2D, Fluxmotor, Motor-CAD, Matlab

· Fluent in German and English
