The successful candidate is required to assesses the capacity of suppliers to cope with the demand, including capacity, capability and resource of the Supplier.


Main Responsibilities
•    From RFQ to serial production at supplier’s premises, the supplier development engineer Is involved to assess the supplier maturity and performance.
•    He/she assesses the capacity of the supplier of managing its own supply chain with standard metrics and methodology. 
•    He/she assists the supplier of setting-up a robust supply chain (internal, external) with appropriate KPIs
•    He/she manages the development of supply chain at suppliers.
•    Define the kitting strategy and all physical flows from suppliers to the points of consumption.
•    Ensure that all the article parameters are well set-up in SAP and accurate. 
•    Define associated packaging to ensure safety for the operators and parts at the best cost. 
•    Ensure that Work in Progress and production sequence at suppliers are well aligned with our requirements.
•    Behaviour on Environmental, Health, Safety and Security topics at suppliers. 
•    Use the Information Solutions and Technology as the tool at the heart of Components (all data stored ad managed).
•    Attend continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, VSM, QRQC)
Performance measurements:
•    Supplier supply chain maturity follow-up; number of actions under control on time & robustness of actions launched and in place. 
•    Current & forecast missing parts ratio. 
•    Stabilisation of stock coverage versus targets
•    Quality of the assessments performed.
•    Eliminate late resolution issues
•    Efficiency of actions launched (minimise energy and optimize results)


Mandatory Requirements
•    Experienced in supplier development, having demonstrated his positive behaviour and professionalism. Focused on reaching the targets. 
•    Good knowledge of industrial processes at suppliers
•    Autonomous in decisions taken.
•    Disciplined, rigorous, proactive, likes teamwork.
•    Focused on flow optimization
•    Fluent in English and German is essential
