Methods Quality Engineer
Location: Austria, Vienna

 

For our Product Family FLEXITY located in Vienna, where we are engineering and manufacturing tramways, we are looking to recruit a flexible and motivated Methods Quality Engineer In this role you will  partner with  the Process Industrial Quality Manager (PIQ) to design and deploy Quality Control Plan to support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customer and the ZERO DEFECT PROGRAM.

 

Requirements:

  • Develop and deploy processes, tools & quality standards including related documentation with industrial teams.
  • Manage Quality activities related to digital tools: GSI, QES & AOS.
  • Deliver training for Quality teams to Industrial Quality Standards.
  • Manage activity related to car history book (Traceability, configuration, …).
  • Perform Workstation audits planning, ensure follow-up & management of relevant action plans.
  • Manage APSYS improvement plan for Industrial Quality scope.

 

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent, Chartered Engineer.
  • Advocate & leverage digital capabilities.
  • Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Technical mastering of railway products.
  • Experience in data analytics, ERP & data visualization.
  • English and German mandatory (other languages are a plus).

 

The minimum salary for this position € 2.742,59 EUR gross / month (14 x) for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications.
