Based in Vienna, the Logistics Engineer is in charge of developing standard jigs and trolleys, defining kitting requirements and processes, work with Procurement and Suppliers to define logistics requirements and packaging concepts in order to insure stable line feeding.

In addition, will support in a variety of supply chain and logistics projects, ranging from supplier integration to lean management implementation.

 

 Main responsibilities:

  • Develop standard jigs and trolleys for line feeding processes  
  • Define line feeding layout and processes           
  • Define logistics requirements and packaging concepts with procurement for suppliers
  • Coordinate project management and order management for those projects    
  • Define and continuously improve supply chain and logistics processes and strategies
  • Develop lean solutions and tools with procurement, production or any other stakeholder in order to improve supply chain processes           
  • Develop project and action plans and track progress   

 

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree (Bachelor or Masters), focusing on logistics / supply chain / packaging / engineering or 3-5 years of practical experience in logistics or related field
  • Project and process management understanding
  • Lean management & Supply chain optimization knowledge
  • Very good skills in Microsoft Office tools
  • AutoCad usage
  • Work independently and hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in German and English.

 

 

 

The minimum salary for this position is 2.802,64 € gross / month (14 x) for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications.
