We are currently looking for an ambitious and flexible Computer Aided Designer (CAD) for our site in Vienna, Austria.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the Mechanical Architect to create a vehicle concept.
  • Modelling and verifying consistency of virtual 3D mock-up (no collision between parts, etc.) and compliance with customer specific requirements (allocated volumes, interfaces, tolerances, etc.). 
  • Performing design study on sub-systems, eg. in case of a new development or a customization wish.
  • Performing 3D analysis and 2D drawings in compliance with quality/cost/delivery. If relevant propose some optimizations of the design (weight, cost, manufacturability, mounting).
  • Involved in the mechanical design reviews for a continuous visibility on mechanical development maturity.
  • Ensure the consistency and the quality of the design (internally and from external suppliers). Key requirements:  Preferably have a Master’s degree in Engineering or the equivalent experience.
  • 3D /2D Design or Mechanical Integration.
  • English basics in read/writing, German at a communication level.
  • Experience with Catia V5.
  • Communication in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge about component integration, material selection, tolerancing, Manufacture & Assembly are welcome but not indispensable.

According to the collective agreement, the minimum salary for this position is 2682,54€ gross/month on a full-time basis (14 times a year). An overpayment is possible depending on relevant professional experience and/or qualifications.
