Could you be the full time System Engineer (Pantograph) we are looking for in Västerås?

 

Join us as a System Engineer for Pantograph (train current collector) and you will be looking at a career-defining role in a company where culture is simply a shared way of doing something with passion!

 

Your future role

As a Pantograph System Engineer, you will be overall technically responsible for the system solution for Pantographs. The scope ranges from concepts and requirements to testing and performance in service, including interfaces such as mechanical, electrical and functional. The role includes working with world wide projects and cooperation as most our traction systems are delivered to customers globally. Also, you will specify the Pantograph system solution for tender and customer contracts based on a set of standardised solutions.

 

We'll look to you for:

  • Specify the system solution and the different components within the Pantograph sub system
  • Supplier selection together with purchasing and quality functions
  • Supplier management, design reviews & qualification
  • Technical lead for interfaces and open items towards internal/external stakeholders.
  • Requirement management, compliance solution and verification & validation programme
  • Support collegues with components within the High Voltage system.
  • Contribute to Return of Experience and guidelines for components

 

All about you 

  • Bachelor/Master degree in engineering
  • Component Experience within High Voltage area – preferable  
  • Experience in stakeholder management: suppliers - preferable  
  • Experience in rail industry & powertrain is an advantage
  • English – fluent (mandatory), Swedish – intermediate
