  • Project management within the responsibility of engineering department for motor, coupling and gearboxes. Lead the design team and plan the daily work as well as the long-term project plan. Responsible for right first-time design reviews to agreed quality, time and cost.
  • Performs mechanical and parts calculations for Traction Motor and its components, creates 2D drawings and 3D models and maintains project databases.
  • Creates project and design related documentation, cooperates with internal departments related to specific project tasks.
  • Plans and defines V&V, cooperates with production engineering on production planning. 
  • Ensures that lessons learned, and best practices are applied on projects.
  • Analyses customer documentation and specific requirements management tasks. 
  • Works with supply management, specifies part properties and assesses supplier capabilities. 
  • Communicates with suppliers in technical related tasks. 
  • Supports warranty and service departments. Performs investigation of parts and products related to drive system. Writes reports and contributes to root cause analysis.
  • Transfers knowledge on other team members, represents department at technical meetings with internal and external partners and consultants.


  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent working experience.
  • Work experience within the area of project management 
  • Work experience or relevant field of study in Mechanical Engineering (Traction Motor and gear box design, Transportation systems…)
  • Knowledge of Catia V5 and/or V6
  • standard MS business suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Railway technology
  • Experience with Catia V5, Hyperworks, Star CCM+,
